Little Pecks Opening Thursday
little pecks will be officially opening Thursday. For the past week or so they were soft-open; serving coffee and without official hours.

Little pecks is an all-day cafeÌ from the culinary team behind Peck’s Arcade, serving coffee, breakfast, lunch, snacks and drinks, including wine and beer. Joining the team as lead barista is Katryn Malen, formerly of Stacks Espresso Bar in Albany.
At the helm of the kitchen will be the duo of executive chef Nick Ruscitto and executive pastry chef Greg Kern, who describes little pecks as “many ideas coming together in one space, which is one of the great things about working with this team. I’ve been able to experiment with some new food ideas and be more involved with the opening of a business – it’s been interesting having a role beyond that of making food.
The cafe will be open seven days a week from 6:00am Monday-Friday, and 8:00am on Saturday and Sunday, for breakfast and lunch with closing times based on customer demand, and at minimum 9:00pm. In addition to seating in little pecks, diners will also have access to a four-season garden area with retractable roof, to be shared with Lucas Confectionery, as well as the Library at Peck’s Arcade. The team expects to do equal parts orders to stay and take-away, and will also focus on outside catering. Coffee will be provided exclusively by Tandem Coffee Roasters of Portland, Maine.
