My thanks to The Half Moon Market for sponsoring KAB this week. The Half Moon Market is a two-day indie marketplace in Albany’s Washington Park Lake House on October 24 and 25.
From the event description:
The market is named for the Half Moon, the ship sailed by Henry Hudson in 1609. The Half Moon sailed up the river as far as the present day location of Albany, New York. A replica of the ship was docked in the Port of Albany until 2014, when it was relocated to the Netherlands.
The Half Moon Market will feature over 30 regional makers, artists and small companies offering handmade jewelry, ceramics, stationery, soaps, and more, as well as a few local food & drink vendors.
It’s totally free to attend, so there’s no reason not to swing by and check out the goods. Both days will feature music, food, craft beer and much more. For more info check the facebook event or event website.
