The music and poetry world suffered a harrowing loss this past Friday with the news of Gil Scott-Heron‘s death. Credited with influencing hip-hop as a whole and being one of the last great revolutionaries of our time, he will be sorely missed by many. Below are a few of my favorites of his.
Big Boi’s album came out just about a week ago and as a big surprise, there’s not only one Phantogram collaboration track, but three. Also, there’s a bunch with Little Dragon too, which is amazing. Hit the jump for the other two!
Brian Bickersmith was kind enough to send along his videos from the Phantogram show at RPI (that I missed). It’s got really great audio and video quality.
