Less than a month after Hollywood brought its allure to downtown Schenectady for a red carpet premiere of The Place Beyond The Pines, the budding artistic metro will play host to yet another cinematic debut, tonight at Proctor’s.

Showing at the world famous Proctor’s Theatre on State Street, Albany-based progressive rock band reaLation spares no effort in delivering the visual interpretation of its hit single “Alright to the big screen. From the masterful eye of Director/Producer Jamel “Intell Mosely of Mel eMedia, the video follows band lead Vincent Lane as his unrequited love alludes him through various lifetimes.

Scenes were captured at a slew of familiar Capital Region locations with time-appropriate wardrobe as well as hair and makeup to boost its authenticity. As a token of their appreciation for all those that attend band members Vince, David Evans (guitar) and Paul Salamone (drums) felt it was only right to supplement the premiere of “Alright with a 40-minute live performance, which will also be filmed by Mr. Mosely for a future release.

For a mere $2, attendees will be able to premiere an imaginative short film that pays homage to our beloved cities, jam out to a live concert and possibly get featured in reaLation’s next film project; not bad for a Tuesday night.

Doors are expected to open around 6:30pm with the show starting promptly at 7pm, and be sure to save some time for the after party at Pinhead Susan’s, just around the corner on Broadway.

Thank you to Robert Marshall for the guest contribution.
