Troy-native Sean Rowe is playing at Valentine’s on September 8th to support his new album The Salesman and the Shark, which is out August 29th on Anti-Records. If you haven’t already, you can stream the entire new album on NPR. I’m not usually be drawn to this style of music but once the album ended, I can honestly say I enjoyed the whole record; I can’t wait to see how much I enjoy Rowe live.
Also joining Rowe is Railbird, a lo-fi electronic outfit currently from Brooklyn.
Check out railbirds video for Jump Ship, featuring Sean Rowe and Sarah Barthel from Phantogram, which was funded via Kickstarter. The video came out awesome and fits the song perfectly. Fantastic job.
This is a stellar line-up and definitely worth the ticket price and is an amazing way to start your Saturday night. If you’re that kind of person, you can buy tickets online to be safe.
