This Saturday, the area’s biggest rockabilly dance party, the River Street Riot, is back at the Arts Center. The party starts at 6pm and will feature live music by The Tichy Boys, who have a founding member of the legendary Commander Cody and the Lost Planet Airmen. His son, a well respected local musician, Graham will also be there, along with others.
Another cool feature of the event is the vintage fashion show, with models outfitted by Twilight Vintage Fashion in Troy, NY. The models then will be auctioned off in a live date auction after the fashion show. (This is very likely to be the most weird and awesome thing at the same time.)
Food at the Riot will be provided by Dinosaur Bar-B-Que and Sticky Finger Gourmet Apples, both Troy locals.
Tickets are $15 in Advance and $20 at the door. To purchase tickets in advance, visit
artscenteronline.org. All proceeds will benefit The Arts Center of the Capital Region.
