Everyone’s seen the million YouTube videos about bike messengers doing their thing, and maybe even one of the handful of well done documentaries. The Travel Channel has a new show, called Triple Rush which I’m sure has 1000% the budget of any of the other messengering documentaries. I’m pumped to see the whole series, and to see all of my NYC friends that are in it! Check out the trailer below and catch it soon on your TV; it premieres April 14th at 10PM.
Anna Chapman for those who don’t remember was one of ten who were arrested in June for being a suspected, real life, Russian spy. As reported by CBS6: The Capital District Transportation Committee will launch a pilot program in Schenectady in July, followed by Troy, Saratoga Springs and Albany. The bike-sharing program will spend a week in each city and will allow registered riders to grab one of 25 bicycles at kiosks. Committee officials say they’ll use the weeklong…
A very worthwhile petition. It’s insane the only way to get a bike to NYC is to drive or risk your life on the chinatown bus. Or completely disassemble your bike and box it up, which is what Amtrak recommends. To sign it, head to change.org and let’s make this a reality.

This weekend, Prospect Park in Troy played host to another year of NYCROSS.com’s hometown race, the Uncle Sam GP. The weather was absolutely beautiful and although I didn’t race I had a blast spectating. There were a lot of tense moments in the last few laps of every race and it was awesome to watch….
