NYC Landlord Watchlist

Leave it to NYC to come up with something like this. It’s not even a third party job either, it’s from the Public Advocate for the City of New York, Bill de Blasio. Although it’s NYC specific, they do a good job with their Tenants’ Rights section, which details what you should expect from your landlord. Of course, the local non-profit United Tenants Albany has a Tenants’ Rights Guide for the people of Albany! I wish this landlord rating system existed in Albany though, it would be a big help for everyone who rents. (Someone go apply for the $1500 start up grant at All Over Albany and get this going for Albany!)
