Full Basilica Soundscape line-up announced
The 2014 lineup for Basilica Soundscape has been announced. This two-day musc and art festival takes place in the repurposed 1800s factory, Basilica Hudson.
The line-up is as follows:
FRIDAY
+ legendary New York psych band Endless Boogie
+ Balinese ensemble Gamelan Dharma Swara
+ musician and sound artist Tim Hecker
+ the breezy and resonant Julia Holter
+ Richard Reed Parry (of Arcade Fire), who will perform material from his upcoming solo album, Music for Heart and BreathSATURDAY
+ Swans
+ Deafheaven
+ Vancouver-based punk group White Lung and reading by White Lung frontwoman Mish Way
+ reading by Perfect Pussy frontwoman Meredith Graves
+ Guardian Alien with additional solo sets by drummer Greg Fox (also of Liturgy, Ben Frost, Dan Deacon, Zs)
+ nomadic dream-pop artist Emily ReoPLUS
+ installation work by acclaimed visual artist Sterling Ruby
+ visual arts, performance art, readings, and farm-to-table food
+ camping
Advance Tickets are $35 per night, and $60 for the weekend pass.
