NYCROSS.com Uncle Sam GP Cyclocross Race: Photos

This weekend, Prospect Park in Troy played host to another year of NYCROSS.com’s hometown race, the Uncle Sam GP. The weather was absolutely beautiful and although I didn’t race I had a blast spectating. There were a lot of tense moments in the last few laps of every race and it was awesome to watch. Especially since it was 75 and sunny in the middle of October.

I’ve seen many of these bikes getting built up on instagram and elsewhere online so it’s especially cool to see them show up in real life when you know they were just finished a few days ago a few hundred miles away. I’m sure almost all small communities are the same way, but when it happens it’s always neat to see.

There’s a handful of local races left. Head to NYCROSS.com to see the schedule and come spectate or race. Hit the jump or click the photo above to see the gallery.
