From the president of the SUNY Albany Student association:

As you are no doubt aware by now the fountain has been filled with water. I am pleased to say that the administration has also agreed that the fountain will be turned on at some point next week. I hope that you will join with me and enjoy the fountain for these last few remaining days of class and finals week.
